I thought I might start with that, knowing that a few among the readership here would appreciate it. As a starting point, it is to assuage the fears of some who, after my most recent article, may perceive me as being entirely ignorant to the potential folly of hope. Martin Departs, Moore a Magpie and Trade Week Kicks Off…
Trade week officially kicked off today, but before the starter pistol was fired on that front there was the little matter of father/son and academy bidding to take care of. Everyone would be well aware now that the expected occurred, with the Western Bulldogs bidding for Moore and Collingwood matching it, meaning that Darcy is officially a Magpie at the cost of our current first round selection (#8).
